We want teachers who understand, and who can show evidence in their teaching, how experiential learning is key, and beyond learning facts and content, conceptual understanding and interdisciplinary approaches support life-long learning. Teachers who value a holistic approach to learning would fit well into our community. IB experience is highly preferred and those with previous IB training and experience will be carefully reviewed by our leadership team, but a great teacher who demonstrates high quality teaching, who develops positive relationships, is reflective about his/her practice and is always willing to share, learn and improve is the overall goal. Previous experience in living overseas and working in a like-international school is an advantage. An undergraduate university degree in the field of education, and qualified teacher status (QTS) or teaching certification (TC) from an appropriate governing body and at least 2 years of full-time teaching experience in a similar accredited school is required.
Our curriculum is IB throughout and our high school is college preparatory.
