Swimming

This semester we are developing water confidence and learning about safety. We are practicing swimming on our fronts and backs and developing the basic techniques of front crawl, back crawl and breaststroke. Children who are already swimming independently are learning to use a breathing pattern.

Things you can practice at home:

Blowing bubbles

Splashing

Putting your face in the water

Going under water

Jumping in

Moving around the pool using your arms and legs
